I heard the baby's heartbeat!!!

Wow, what can I tell you, that is a surreal experience! And it makes it all the more real. So today was my first doctor's appt. I was half excited and half nervous, I really don't know why though. Anywayz, I met the doctor, and he was incredibley nice and made me feel very comfortable, he asked me all the standard stuff, blah blah blah. But being that I'm now 10 weeks along, this is the time when it's possible to hear the baby heartbeat. He wasn't sure if we would be able to though, and that was nothing to be worried about. But all of a sudden there it was, beating so small and so fast, it was amazing, I just said wow!! This tiny little baby, that's only about an inch big now, but growing fast, and there was that little heartbeat, for the first time it was truly exciting to be carrying this little life inside me, I feel so blessed!! That was definately the highlight of the visit, everything else was just regular doctor stuff. Though I think they drained me of all my blood, geez they took like 4 vials of blood! But everything is progressing perfect, completely normal. I'll go back in a month, which I will do every month until it gets closer to delivery and then I'll get seen more frequently. Maybe next time I'll get to see my baby for the first time, I can't even imagine how cool that will be. Well that is about it, I'll be back in a few days I'm sure, but it probably won't be as exciting, oh well lol. Have a good one my friends......
