Jazlynn Ximena.... Born March 19th, 2004 at 2:40 p.m.

Well she's here, finally here!!! It's so hard to believe, it feels like only yesterday I found out I was pregnant, and now she's actually in the world. I went into early labor on Thursday morning, and by 8:00 that night I was heading to the hospital, only to be sent home 3 hours later because I wasn't progressing enough. Then 3 hours from that, I was back at the hospital because I was in so much pain, that i couldn't handle it any longer. The doctor again wanted to send me back home, but luckily I had a nurse that decided to keep me there, god bless her I say!!!!

I went through about 14 hours of labor I would say, but thankfully because of one of the greatest things ever invented called an epidural, the second half was blissfully and virtually painless. I was a little out of it too haha lol. But yeah that epidural thing, oh yeah I highly recommend lol. Anywayz, finally on the afternoon of the 19th, which if you read Joe's comment in my last post, you now know that was also his birthday (and it's my 4 year old nephew's too lol), it was finally time to bring this baby into the world. I only had to push for about an hour and a half, and it flew by pretty fast, and again with the wonder drugs pumping through my system, it was pretty easy.

But there she was, this tiny little thing, a head full of dark, dark brown hair, and beautifully tan skin, she was and is absolutely gorgeous. And I was relieved to have finally made it to that moment. I was at the hospital until Sunday, but unfortunately she became a bit jaundice and was not allowed to be discharged from the hospital until yesterday, but she is now doing very well and I am happy to have her home.

So last night was my first full night with her, it was a bit rough, it will take some time for both of us to make the adjustment, because this is such a huge change, but we're gonna pull through. Joe has been there every step of the way, he was there all through labor and delivery and stayed at the hospital the entire time I was there, little Jazlynn has got herself one great daddy, she's very lucky and so am I!! He's absolutely estatic to have her here, and is one proud daddy to boot, it's so cute watch him with her.

So now it begins the next phase in this incredible, and just a little strange journey, and I'm looking forward to watching this beautiful little girl grow! I again want to thank all of you for all the support and encouragement you have shown over these months, you are all amazing!! And a special thanks to Kelly, I recieved a wonderful gift from her, actually on Thursday. She sent 2 adorable outfits, that I absolutely love, thank you Kelly for thinking of me and Jazlynn, I appreciate it so much, I hope to talk to soon and catch up!!! I will try and find a way to post pictures, but I'll send emails out so you can all see her. Sorry it took me so long to update as you can imagine I've been quite busy, and I apologize in advance if it takes me a while to post again, I'm seizing the moment here as it is.
